The City Environment and Natural Resources Office’s vision is to deliver efficient and cost-effective environmental programs and to implement policies toward the protection and conservation of natural resources in collaboration with all sectors of society, and the Environmental and Waste Management Division’s Information and Education Campaign (IEC) Program strengthens it by performing activities for Davao City people. The orientation for City Ordinances 0361-10 (Davao City Ecological Solid Waste Management Ordinance of 2009) and 0500-21 (No to Single-Use Plastic Ordinance of 2021) is one of its activities. This will assist the citizens of Davao City in becoming more knowledgeable about these laws, increasing their awareness of them, and reducing the pollution the city receives from solid waste.
